There is a lot that people could stand to learn from cats, like how to persuade somebody to feed you at set times or how to have the deluded self-confidence that you are always the most important and attention-worthy individual in the room. The whole always landing on your feet thing is, I fear, more of a design feature than a behavior that can be acquired with practice.

We could also start taking notes on how successfully they have infiltrated memes and internet culture. Admittedly, none of us are ever going to be as cute as our feline friends but it would be nice to think that we can be just as entertaining. There is a good reason that cat memes have been the bread and butter of the image macro for decades now, and it is easy enough to find that in the examples below.
